Meet Laura

 

I’m Laura Thornton, founder and creative director of Thornton Design and host of The Business of Beautiful Spaces podcast.

I’ve spent nearly three decades in the interior design industry and built my own award-winning, seven-figure design firm.

But I did not start with a perfect pricing system, perfect processes, or some magical instinct for running a profitable company.

I learned by doing.

And by getting plenty wrong along the way.

The biggest lesson?

Being an incredible designer and running an incredible design business are two different skill sets.

The second one can be learned.
